2008

Final news for 2008

What a year it's been!

Travel has been a large part of life for me again this year and although it can take its toll physically, I find the stories people have shared with me along the way, have left me uplifted at the end of each day.
While I've travelled around the country with Keys To Success the number of people I've heard such beautiful stories from have left me in total awe.

Particularly the stories from regional and remote women who have been struggling through one of the most dreadful droughts Australia has seen; stories form people who no longer have a job as the result of recent Government cutbacks; stories from teachers who are doing an amazing job with some students who are absolutely disengaged from learning. Thank you to all of those people for sharing with me and displaying what it means to be an Australian with such enormous resilience.

I would like to thank Cindy who commented "It has been my pleasure to have been a part of this course. I have learned more out of these two courses than any other course I have ever been with (employer)... and other employers. The way she presents the course is excellent and I was never afraid to ask questions"

I have had the pleasure of travelling around NSW, Queensland and Victoria, working with many groups and organizations; many schools, both Primary and Secondary. Hopefully people in those organizations feel more empowered to reach their potential and to recognize their real strengths and abilities.
A very exciting venture between a school in Ballarat and one in Birmingham in the UK, will be extremely exciting as each school explores Learning Styles and shares its thinking. Certainly a venture to be watched closely

Next year promises to be just as huge as 2008. Many sections of the diary have already been filled in.

There will be more public courses in Victoria through the PdI site; courses with Catchment Management Authorities throughout NSW; and continuing opportunities with the Public Sector in NSW.

May you all have a wonderful Christmas, a well deserved break and may Peace and Joy be in your world.
